Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Acura debuted the NEXERA Vision concept at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, offering a dramatic preview of the brand’s future design language. Created at the Acura Design California studio in Los Angeles under Creative Director Yasutake Tsuchida, the concept’s aesthetics will debut on the upcoming fourth-generation RDX Hybrid.

Finished in Matte Titanium, the high-performance coupe features dual-hinge butterfly doors, dynamic active aerodynamics, and forged carbon accents. Its low, muscular stance is complemented by 22-inch centerlock wheels, high-performance carbon ceramic Brembo brakes, and a brand-new “phantom lighting” signature inspired by the Acura ‘A’ mark.

Inside, the driver-centric cockpit emphasizes sustained performance and minimalist function. Drivers sit in floor-integrated fixed seats paired with adjustable pedals and steering wheel for an ultra-low center of gravity. The cabin utilizes sustainable materials, including recycled aluminum, post-consumer Alcantara®, and CircuLeather®, accented by high-contrast pink detailing and forged carbon trim.

“To reinforce the new Acura styling identity, we developed a unique lighting signature inspired by the Acura ‘A’ mark—an unmistakable design element created to make this new era of Acura instantly recognizable,” said Tsuchida. “The NEXERA Vision sets the course for the next generation of Acura design, and we are committed to evolving that direction with clarity, consistency and purpose across future Acura products.”
