Kia Philippines has officially launch the Sorento Turbo Hybrid in the country.
The Korean-based motor company ditched the diesel model and stick with a 1.6-liter Turbocharged Hybrid Engine (Gasoline) with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor and a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The combined gasoline and electrified power train offers a total maximum Output of 235 ps and a total maximum torque of 367 Nm. Available in 3 variants; 1.6 EX Turbo Hybrid AT 4×2, 1.6 EX+ Turbo Hybrid AT 4×2, and a 1.6 SX Turbo Hybrid AT AWD.
On the outside, the new Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid will feature a facelifted new tiger nose grill, the Star Map LED daytime running lights and a 4-Cube LED Projection Type headlights. It will also sport a Panoramic sunroof. Inside, you will immediately see the 12.3” touchscreen infotainment system with a 360-Degree Surround View Monitor with the Bose 12-Speaker sound system.
As for the Safety and Security; Airbags, Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Stability Control (ESC),Downhill Brake Control (DBC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and the Anti-theft System will come standard in all models. As for the vehicles dimension, it measures at 4815mm x 1900mm x 1700mm (LxWxH) with a 7 seating capacity. It has a wheelbase of 2,815mm and 19” Alloy wheel (235/55 R19).

The 2025 Kia Sorento HEV is available in 5 colors; Aurora Black Pearl, Silky Silver, Snow White Pearl, and Volcanic Sand Brown.
