Yesterday, BYD Philippines just concluded their BYD tech tour at the Ayala Malls Solenad Activity Park, aside from showcasing the entire line up of BYD vehicles, the company also introduce the BYD Seal Advanced and the new BYD Atto 3.
BYD Seal Advanced
The BYD Seal Advanced a new variant that’s below the of the BYD Seal Performance model, it is a midsize sedan with a starting price of ₱1,998,000.
In a nutshell, the Seal Advanced is will sport a rear-wheel drive (RWD) drivetrain, with a 203 Ps and 310 Nm of torque, acceleration of 0-100km/h in 7.5 secs. It will have a smaller 61.4 kWh battery and a shorter range of up to 510 km in a single full charge.
Similar to the Seal Performance Model, the Seal Advance will also feature a Cell-to-Body (CTB) chassis for extra rigidity, DiPilot Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Intelligent Cruise Control and a 360º-view Camera, among others. And access to this incredible tech is made easy with a 15.6” infotainment screen and the industry-leading HI BYD Voice Command System. It supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It will also have the same dimension of 4800mm x 1875mm x 1460mm and a wheelbase of 2920 mm. The BYD Seal Advance will also have the same maximum luggage capacity of 450L but with a kerb weight of 1,922kg. BYD Atto 3
As for the new BYD Atto 3, a compact electric SUV that’s available in two variant; Dynamic and Premium. Performance-wise, both the BYD Atto 3 Dynamic and Premium are the same, both are front-wheel drive (FWD) drivetrain that produces 204 Ps of motor power, 310 Nm of torgue with a top speed of 160 km/h, it can accelerate from 0-to-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.
As for what sets the BYD Atto 3 Dynamic apart from the BYD Atto 3 Premium, it lies mainly in the battery, wheels, and minor differences in the exterior and interior.
