Xiaomi upcoming electric SUV, the YU7 have been leaked and prematurely announced in a Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The filing listed the design and name of the Xiaomi’s second EV – the Xiaomi YU7 SUV.

It also mentioned the dimension of electric SUV; 4,999 mm long, 1,996 mm wide, and 1,600 mm high, with a curb weight of 2,405 kg. The listing also mentioned that Xiaomi YU7 will have a dual electric motors, a 220 kW at the front, and a 288 kW motor at back wheels, offering a total power of 508 kW (681 hp). It will have a top speed of 253 km/h. The battery pack will be from Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and will be using NMC chemistry. The Xiaomi YU7 is slate for a June or July 2025 launch.
