The Chery-owned Omada & Jaecco has opened its first showroom and first dealership in the Philippines. The Omada showroom is located at GMall along A. Soriano Avenue in Cebu City, occupying the 296 sqm facility where first batch of the two brands’ initial offerings will be on full display.
In an article on Zigwheels Ph, Omoda and Jaecoo Country Director Terry Hu said “As the Queen City of the South, Cebu City serves as the gateway to the growing Visayan market. Cebu is a central location that connects islands and communities. We are thus excited to make our signature automotive engineering DNA available to the Cebuanos, and we are confident that Cebu will be a successful home for our first dealership,”
“This inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter for Omoda and Jaecoo in the Philippines. We are confident in the future of Omoda and Jaecoo in the market, and we look forward to a long and successful journey together,” He added.
The Omada & Jaecco showroom will be offering both gasoline engine and electric vehicle. Under the Omoda brand, it will initially offer the Omoda C5 (gasoline) and E5 (EV), then on the Jaecoo side the EJ6, which is an all-electric 4×4 SUV. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, the company also said that they plan to offer 7 – 8 vehicle by the end of 2025.
