Polestar announces the 2025 Polestar 2 for the US Market

Polstar has announced the Polestar 2, slated for the US Market this 2025. The Polstar 2 will only be available in one trim level, the Long Range Dual Motor with the Performance Pack and it will have starting price of $64,800 MSRP. The high price could be the effect of the new tariffs on EVs imported from China, where a number of Polestar vehicle are made.

In a nutshell, Polestar 2 will have a range of 254 miles or around 408.77 km. It’s an ALL Wheel Drive (drivetrain) and its long range dual motor offers a 476hp (350 kW), 546 lb-ft of torgue and a top speed of 127 mph (204.4 kmh). As for the battery, it uses a 400 V Lithium-ion, 82 kWh capacity and fast charging time of 0 to 80% in 28 mins and 0 to 100% in 8 hours. You can checkout the rest of the specs of Polestar 2 here.

Aside from the 2025 Polestar 2, the company plans to launch two new EVs, the Polestar 3 – a luxury electric crossover and the Polestar 4 – performance coupe-crossover, later this year.
