As it is classed as a mini EV, the Bestune Pony was clearly bought in to compete against the likes of the Jetour Ice Cream, BYD Seagull, and the VinFast VF 3.
At maximum, the version sold in other parts of the world can generate up to 27 horsepower. According to the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle, it can also cover up to 170 kilometers from a single full charge.
Just like its would-be rivals, the Pony comes in the form of a three-door hatchback with a length spanning 3,000-millimeters (mm). It also has a width of 1,510-mm and a height of 1,630-mm.
Inside, the upcoming mini EV can accommodate up to four occupants, including the driver. Its other notable features include a two-tone exterior paint job, a drive mode selector, and a liquid crystal display gauge cluster – among others.
As of this time, no pricing, availability and specs for the Philippines have been release.
